The inauguration of the Barra do Dande Ocean Terminal (TOBD) represents a strategic
milestone for Angola’s energy security. Considered by the President of the Republic,
João Lourenço, as one of the main infrastructures in the sector, alongside the Luanda
Refinery, TOBD strengthens the country’s fuel storage and distribution capacity.

With a capacity of 582,000 m³, distributed among diesel, gasoline, and LPG, the terminal
will contribute to supply stability and reduce import dependency. The $700 million investment
by Sonangol boosts the economy, creates jobs, and promotes technological advancements in the
oil sector.
